Sapena Footwear was founded by Salvador Sapena in 2009, who represents a third generation of footwear family business. Previously, he expanded his career managing the development of different International “private label” and own label projects in the family business.
Our company works with in a full cycle service around the footwear, becoming specialist company to offer a customized production for our clients.
We have an extensive portfolio of clients with whom we worked and successfully developed their collection and production, as International Designer firms, Retail Clothing or Footwear Chain stores, Department Stores, Catalogue business, Wholesale Distributors, E-commerce… We have developed and produced multiple projects for “private label” business around the world, as well as our own brands.
Our wide comprehension of the footwear business, together with our high experienced skilled personnel, is our card of presentation for any new collaboration. We facilitate for your project a full understanding of any design in coordination with our production department, so the start up becomes easy path to walk.
We are used to follow quick response to demand, having a short period of reaction for production deliveries. Our time of reaction to trends and markets needs corresponds to nowadays requirements. We have a constant flow of designs coming into production, today doesn’t matter the season you are designing, it does matter when is needed.
This experience accumulated in the team for the last 35 years has allowed to build up a wise expertise knowledge and convenient technical support. Thanks to our heritage and background we love heeled fashion shoes, but for the last decade we have implemented a new casual touch in our collections, as we did with our brand “Veracruz Footwear”. Our Design and Production department will support to start the prototype from scratch: the leather trends to search, components to adopt, trim or ornament to have, pattern proportions, last measurements or shape, heel design or outsole making… We offer a full process attention, starting from initial design to final production quality control and check out.
We will tecnically assit you to make YOUR PROJECT industrially possible, as well as to make it cost efficient to achieve the best result. We do have close contact with several international and national laboratory testing companies to offer a full assistance on special requirements for banned material or certifications needed.

Our team is focused in the Needs of our Customer. Communication is a key element in our company: each department has a close contact with the members involved in the process of any project being developed. We do maintain an internal constant check out communication to follow up all steps involved, but more important we keep customer informed through out.
We do keep close contact with the high diversity of suppliers and their new implementation of new product manufacturing technics. The team executes solutions with discipline and flexibility when facing any possible conflict raised with the negotiation, sampling or manufacturing process, finding solution where needed.
Our team has a constant implementation of any new Digital tools and working processes that could facilitate or improve the management of our customer account, allowing a abetter and more efficient working team system.
